16/07/2021: A plumb line is used to mark out accurate drill points along a string line. Normally they consist of a large weight at the end of a piece of string, hung against the string line to mark out locations directly below the string line. Here, ours is a bolt on a piece of nylon string – simple!16/07/2021: We used the beams to mark out the outer-edge footprint of the cabin, then marked this with the string lines. In some cases, the plumb lines can also be hung from the beams to identify the corners of the cabin.16/07/2021: The beginning of the mosquito season!
