11/07/2021: We spent a long day cleaning the vegetation from the cabin site, exposing all the bedrock… and also revealing some bad patches for building. Roots had broken up significant parts of the bedrock. The rock under this vegetation was actually structurally sound, it just had a deep layer of soil to dig through in order to get to it.
